It's so easy and delicious you will want to make it over and over!
Sometimes I have to trick my son into eating his Vitamin C. This past week, this has been the case, as he has had a cold. Mega Kiwi is packed with Vitamin C to help kick a pesky cold to the curb, so into the bread it went. And it was SO GOOD. The tartness of the Mega Kiwi was mellowed when cooked, and the tart flavor compliments the sweet chocolate and the earthiness of the banana.
Ingredients:
1 cup of sugar
1 stick of butter, softened
2 eggs
2 bananas, mashed (very ripe)
2 Mega Kiwi, peeled and diced
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2-3/4 cups chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Cream butter, vanilla and sugar in a bowl.
Add eggs, and mashed bananas and Mega Kiwi.
Mix in remaining ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
Pour into a 9×13 baking pan, greased.
Sprinkle top with granulated sugar, if desired.
Bake for 30-40 minutes.
Enjoy!
