Fresh Squeezed Lemonade with a touch of Mega Kiwi and raspberry is so refreshing in this homemade lemonade.
Every once in a while I crave a fancy lemonade. Not just regular, fresh squeezed lemonade, but something that makes my tastebuds go "WOAH". My answer to that craving was this! I simply took one cup of fresh raspberries, 2 peeled and chopped Mega Kiwi, and threw them in a pot over a very low temperature. I simmered the berries for about 5 minutes and then strained out those pesky seeds. I added the juice to the lemonade…perfection! It added a beautiful color and the perfect kiwi raspberry taste!
Ingredients:
1 cup fresh raspberries
2 Mega Kiwi, peeled and chopped
1 cup lemon juice, fresh squeezed
8 cups cold water
1 cup granulated sugar
Directions:
Mix lemon juice, sugar and water together in a pitcher. Set aside
Put raspberries and Mega Kiwi in a sauce pan over low heat.
Simmer for about 5 minutes, until very juicy.
Strain the berries.
Let cool slightly and add to lemon mixture.
Serve over ice.
